Hello! We are liquidating the assets of a closed business. Take advantage of the low prices on these items. This listing is for 1 - Pulsar Scientific Recovery Plus Cold Compression DVThearpy System. The unit seems to have little use. We powered it up and it worked well cooling the compression bladder quickly to the set 45 degrees. It comes in a nice rolling case and has the remote, attachment for dvt, and some litterateur along with laminated simple start and trouble shooting instructions. It's rare to see these available for home use as the cost of them is very high and often you can only rent one through your insurance company. I could think of many great uses including sports medicine and even home use. It could also be put right back into the rental industry. I don't even want to know what the insurance companies pay for it!!! :) It also comes with the PS511A DVThearpy 12 VDC remote unit but I didn't power that up. It's runs from the 12 volt rechargeable battery or a 9 volt adapter power supply. The battery may charge for n the unit if left on long enough but I can't guarantee the battery is good and may need to be replaced. The Recovery+ thermal compression system provides high performance
cool and heat therapy, with or without pneumatic compression therapy.
The Recovery+ also accepts the installation of the DVTherapy pneumatic
compression system. With the DVTherapy docked into the Recovery+,
the system provides compression therapy that aids in the prevention
of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
The DVTherapy unit may be removed from Recovery+ with a simple,
single-action release button for portable DVT prophylaxis.
This unique feature provides the option to combine the therapies
of the Recovery+ and DVTherapy and allows the DVTherapy to be removed for portable use. The DVTherapy may be powered by its internal rechargeable battery or while plugged into its dedicated power supply and battery charger.
