Principleof the Test: Kit contains two selective culture media recommended by the FDA Bacteriological Analytical Manual (BAM) Chapter 5: Salmonella. The medium in liquid phase is formulated with the modified substrates of BAM Media M132 which support growth of Salmonella against both high and low levels of competitive microflora. The medium in sold phase is formulated with the chromogenic substrates which increase sensitivity of the test.
