Victorian Antique Cream Lace Silk Embroidered Flowers Stole Shawl MantillaThis antique Victorian era cream lace silk embroidered flowers stole shawl mantilla dates from 1900. It is made of a sheer off white cream color silk net machine lace with a graceful garland floral leaf pattern design, silk thread couched outlines with detailed shading and floss work raised padded satin stitch embroidery work. This lovely lace has a long rectangle stole shape shawl style with hand knotted cream silk fringe trim ends and could be worn as mantilla veil for church or wedding. The shawl measures 92 inches long, 30 inches wide, with 5 inch long fringe. It is in good as-is condition, has not been cleaned with several small age spot stains, yellowing discoloration and a few tiny holes (see close-ups). This is truly a beautiful piece of lace wearable art!
