Vintage Lot of 2 NEW Fabric Tartan Cloth Plaid & Solid Macspun of Scotland PURE NEW WOOL.
On original hangers with tags that read:
Tweeds and Tartans by macspun of Scotland PURE NEW WOOL approx. 54" x 36"/140 cm x 90 cm
with original
Tartan & Tweed Shop Gretna Green
price tags. Back of tags has textile address and
Made in Gt. Britain
stamps.
I have not removed these from the hangers, so going with the tag measurements of approximately 54" x 36"/140 cm x 90 cm.
Tags do have some bending and discoloration on them due to age. The fabrics do have a slightly musty smell from storage.
Year unknown.
One fabric is plaid with various shades of blues, browns, and cream. The other looks more solid, but still has the woven pattern in browns with blue. (See pictures for close up views of the fabrics.)
I do not attempt to clean or restore. I do try to show any defects or blemishes in pictures. If there are any defects/blemishes, I will try to explain in description.
