    CONDITION: Vintage item. Signs of age are minimal.
    Denise Francelle, one of the most charmingly old-fashioned privately owned shops in Paris, is situated beneath the arcades on the Rue de Rivoli. The tiny boutique opposite the Tuileries Gardens sells exquisite accessories - silk scarfs, kidskin gloves, evening bags, silk stockings and tights, as well as berets and parasols. It is the place to find treasures for haute fashion shows and photo shoots and for the most lucky among us, the place to find treasures for one’s self.
    Denise Francelle herself opened the shop in 1938, but died a few years ago at age ninety-eight.
